This policy explains how Cosmic Manager handles account data, academic app data, uploads, and optional Google Calendar access.

Overview

Cosmic Manager is an educational productivity app. It helps students organize semester schedules, classes, study materials, deadlines, and optional Google Calendar reminders.

Sign-in and account information

Cosmic Manager uses Firebase Authentication for Google sign-in. When you sign in, the app may store basic account information such as your Firebase UID, name, email address, and profile photo so your data can be kept under your own user account.

Academic app data

Firestore stores user-owned app data such as study material metadata, manual deadlines, and calendar sync records. These records are used to show your saved academic information inside the app.

Firebase Storage may be used for user-uploaded study material if uploads are enabled. Uploaded files remain associated with the user account that uploaded them.

Google Calendar access

Google Calendar access is used only when you choose to add a class, quiz, exam, or other academic event to Google Calendar. The app creates the calendar events you request.

Cosmic Manager does not read your full Google Calendar, does not access Gmail, and does not store Google OAuth access tokens or refresh tokens. Calendar event IDs or links may be stored only to prevent duplicate event creation and show whether an event was already added.

Data deletion

To request deletion of your account data, study material metadata, uploaded material, manual deadlines, and calendar sync records, contact chair_80_ref@icloud.com from the email address associated with your account. Include a clear request for account and data deletion.
